Zenmart is a commodity trading platform that offers real-time pricing updates and comparisons for foodstuff, general commodities, and household staples to benefit consumers and sellers. We support households, family-oriented buyers (businesses), busy professionals, and institutions to get the best value and price at a manageable budget. With our price alerts, you'll enjoy great deals for your groceries and foodstuff. You can now access the best price and commodity alerts on your phone or desktop via the app or web or subscribe to SMS, WhatsApp, or email alerts anywhere.

Customers can access the services of Zenmart through our website  https://zenmart.co.ug/ or the mobile app Zenma rt in App store and play store . Customers can also make a purchase through a direct call with one of our sales agents.  

Zenmart websites and apps could be referred to as sites or platforms in this terms and conditions document.

Due to the volatile nature of commodity markets, prices can fluctuate based on factors such as supply, demand, seasonal changes, and market conditions. As a result, we have a limited guarantee that the prices displayed on the platform are always accurate, complete and current.

General Information

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of https://zenmart.co.ug/ and any purchases made on our platform.

User Accounts

You must be 18 to create an account or purchase.

You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating an account.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password.

Account holders can at anytime  can request for deletion of their account and this can be done using the website or app in the account section of the platform.

Product Information and Pricing

We strive to ensure the accuracy of all product information, including prices, descriptions, and availability. However, errors may occur, and we reserve the right to correct them.

Prices are subject to change without notice.

Any offers or promotions are subject to their specific terms and conditions.

Price Changes and Market Fluctuations

Commodity  prices on Zenmart are subject to change without prior notice.

Zenmart uses a network of  suppliers, market information agents and 3rd parties to collect, anaylse and publish pricing information on the website

Sellers on Zenmart have the right to adjust prices at any time to reflect current market conditions.

We will notify the buyer before processing the order in the case of significant price discrepancies after the order is placed.

Despite our best efforts, errors in pricing may occasionally occur. Zenmart reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice, even after an order has been placed.

If a pricing error is identified after an order is placed, we will contact the buyer to inform them of the error and give them the option to proceed with the corrected price or cancel the order for a full refund.

Unless otherwise stated, all prices listed on Zenmart are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, and shipping costs.

Buyers are responsible for any additional charges, including taxes, customs duties, or other fees that may apply based on their location.

For foreign currency transactions, prices are subject to currency conversion rates, which may fluctuate.  

Zenmart is not responsible for discrepancies in currency conversion rates charged by banks or payment service providers.

Orders and Payments

All orders are subject to acceptance and availability.

Zenmart reserves the right to cancel or decline orders at its descretion and may inform the customer s as to why the order has been cancelled or declined. Refunds for these orders will be processed using the customers selected mode of payment.

We accept various forms of payment, including cash on delivery, direct debit/ credit (VISA, credit card), mobile money, bank Telephone transfers, EFTS, RTGs, and any legal transaction. All payment information is encrypted for security.

You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases.

Shipping and Delivery

We offer shipping to specified locations updated on our website and based on the logistics schedule. Shipping fees, delivery times, and additional charges will be clearly indicated at the time of purchase.

We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party delivery services or customs processes.

Returns and Refunds

We accept returns of non-food/healthcare products within 48 hours of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original packaging.

Refunds will be issued using the original payment method within 72 hours of the refund being authorized by Zenmart .

Certain non-refundable items, such as food, hygiene, and sanitary products could be refunded if the goods bef ore dispatch were damaged and there evidence is available to proove this.

Intellectual Property

All content on https://zenmart.co.ug/, including logos, images, and text, is owned by us or licensed to us. You may not reproduce or use any content without our permission.

User Conduct

You agree not to use our platform for any unlawful or prohibited activity.

You must not interfere with the platform's security or other users' experience.

Zenmart reserves the right to freeze and or delete y our account if the user’s account is not using the Zenmart platform with good intention or finds the user’s account in suspici ous activity linked to money laundering.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, https://zenmart.co.ug/ will not be liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss or damage resulting from the use or inability to use the platform.

At Zenmart, we maintain stringent internal quality management controls to ensure that customers receive the highest quality produce. Zenmart guarantees that all orders fulfilled meet our quality standards, and records of quality assessments are kept for reference. However, in the rare event that a product is damaged during transportation, Zenmart will assist in securing recourse with the third-party delivery service responsible for the delivery.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect and confirm the condition of all items upon receipt before the delivery rider leaves. By allowing the rider to leave, the customer accepts the order as is and acknowledges that the produce is in satisfactory condition.

Additionally, the customer is responsible for thoroughly washing or cleaning any produce delivered before consumption. Zenmart will not be held liable for any complications arising from failure to comply with this responsibility, including but not limited to food poisoning, harmful substances, or costs incurred for the disposal of affected products.

By agreeing to these terms, the customer acknowledges these limitations and releases Zenmart from liability in relation to the above circumstances.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page, and continued use of our platform indicates acceptance of the new terms.

Quality Assurance and Dispute Resolution

Zenmart provides a quality grading system based on international standards for agricultural commodities. However, the final quality and condition of products are the seller's responsibility.

In disputes regarding the quality or quantity of delivered commodities, Zenmart will act as a neutral mediator. The decision of Zenmart's mediation team will be binding.
