Business Development Coordinator

Position: Business Development Coordinator
Type: Full-time
Location: Greater Kampala

About the Role
As our Business Development Coordinator, you’ll be critical in driving rapid, cost-effective customer acquisition and optimizing our digital channels. This role is for a hands-on, experimental marketer who loves testing new ideas and thrives on data.

Responsibilities:

  1. Support business and brand growth
  2. Develop and execute growth hacking strategies to drive customer acquisition and boost engagement.
  3. Test new channels and optimize existing campaigns, focusing on low-cost, high-impact growth tactics.
  4. Analyze customer journey data, perform A/B testing, and enhance the user experience.
  5. Work closely with the marketing lead to optimize social media and ad spending.
  6. Coordinate customer satisfaction and CRM functions

Requirements:

  1. 4+ years in growth marketing or performance marketing (eCommerce experience a plus).
  2. Strong project proposal writing skills and experience in writing concept notes and grant applications
  3. Resource mobilization and management skills
  4. Proficiency with tools like Google Analytics, Facebook Ads, and email automation.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and a love for data-driven decision-making.
  6. Familiarity with growth hacking techniques, customer segmentation, and A/B testing.
